Copying Machines

Coin and copy card-operated copying machines are available for your use in the library.  The cost per page is 10 cents if you use a copy card and 15 cents if you use coins.  Copy cards,  which allow you to make a number of copies at a reduced price, may be purchased using our copy card dispensing machine (accepts 1, 5, 10, and 20 dollar bills but does not give change back ). Reader/printers that allow  you to make copies of articles from microform are available in the microfilm area.

No Smoking, Eating, or Drinking

Smoking in the library is prohibited by Texas law.  Eating and/or drinking in the library are   also not permitted.  There is a lounge area outside  the library for these purposes. Closed food and drink containers may be carried into the library.

 Theft/Destruction of Library Materials

To limit theft and destruction and to assure that everyone is guaranteed equal access to library materials, the library uses an electronic theft  detection  system. A person stealing or mutilating library materials will be referred to the Dean of Student Development  for disciplinary action.

Lost and Found

Inquire at the Circulation  Desk for lost or found items. Books, glasses, umbrellas, keys, wallets, etc. are frequently found in the  library. When the owner can be identified, he/she is contacted. There is also a lost and found at the  Business Office next to Registration.
